Responsibilities:
Course description: Surveys the processes and institutions of the United States, California, and local government. Analyzes and discusses a variety of topics and current issues, including education, health, civil liberties and rights, proposed laws, and policies and budgets.

Education and Experience:


Minimum Qualifications: (Faculty and Academic Administrator Positions Only)
Masters in political science, government, or international relations
OR
Bachelors in any of the above
AND
Masters in economics, history, public administration, social science, sociology, and any ethnic studies, Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) or Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.)
OR
The equivalent

Salary
Finalized Salary Placement is based on units beyond a bachelors degree with a masters degree conferred.

Start Date

As soon as the successful candidate is identified and following the subsequent governing board approval.

Successful candidate may be assigned to any of the campus sites (Chula Vista, National City, Otay Mesa, and/or San Ysidro).
