Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Administrative Officer II to lead payroll processing and review for the Barron Center. This is a fast-paced position serving 200 employees, requiring strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and technical proficiency. The primary focus is on accurately processing payroll, assist with accounts payable, complete purchase orders, while providing administrative support for payroll-related human resources functions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute payroll processing for 200 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain scheduling software and assisting with granting user access.
Generate and analyze departmental payroll reports to support financial oversight.
Serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries from employees.
Complete purchase orders.
Assist with Accounts Payable.
Provide administrative support for payroll-related liaison activities, such as leave tracking.
May serve as back-up human resources liaison relating to hiring, new employee education, benefits and various leave of absences
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of payroll practices and reconciliation.
Experience in payroll and financial software (Munis/AOD experience highly preferred).
Proficient technical and computer skills, including strong command of Google Workspace.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive personnel and payroll data with discretion.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare audit schedules and financial reports.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Expected Hours/Schedule:
37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary & Benefits:
This is a Non Union position, Grade B25, Starting salary range is $30.47/hour to $33.29/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
