City of Portland - Parking Garage Cashier - On Call

Parking Division

The Portland Parking Division is in search of Garage On-Calls to work presell parking events. Be a part of the exciting atmosphere selling parking spaces for those attending events at the Cross Insurance Arena.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Cash handling
Cash drawer reconciliation
Security walkthroughs
Traffic management
Collection of pre-stamped parking tickets
Minor trash pickup.
Successful candidates will also be trained as a cashier in the booth.

Requirements:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in the confined space of a tollbooth as well as in hot and cold temperatures.
Prior cash handling and cashier experience in a Windows-based computer environment desired.
Strong communication and customer service skills needed.

Salary: $18.00/hour.
