City of Portland - Concessions Staff On-Call

Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department – Public Assembly Facilities

You can be a part of the guest experience at Merrill Auditorium, the James A. Banks Exposition Building, Fitzpatrick Stadium, Ocean Gateway, William B. Troubh Ice Arena, and other outdoor parks and City properties. Exciting opportunity to work Maine Celtics games, performances at Merrill Auditorium, and many more events.

Duties & Position Requirements Include:

Set-up prior and tear-down following an event.
Preparing, cooking, taking orders, serving, and distributing food and beverages.
Cleaning before, during and after events.
Crowd management.
Excellent communication and customer service skills needed.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have a valid Class C driver's license with a good driving record.

Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check.

**Pay rate starting at $18.00/hour, with an additional $2.00/hour stipend for all Maine Celtics events worked.**
