Job Summary:

Food Service Workers are responsible for reading meal tickets, plating meals, and delivering food to our residents. Team members also assist with catering deliveries for on-site meetings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

General kitchen work
Set-up food trays accurately and in an attractive fashion
Washes pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and other kitchen equipment
Prepares salads, fruit cups, sandwiches, and snacks
Delivers food to resident units and meeting rooms
Sets up food trays accurately and in an attractive fashion.
Sweeps and mops kitchen area, and cleans and polishes ranges, walls, doors, fixtures, and other items.
Checks trays for completion
Performs related work as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

Must possess a valid driver's license, or be able to obtain the license during the six month probationary period.
Must have and maintain a good driving record
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to work with intermittent supervision

Expected Hours/Schedule:

This is a part-time position at 12-15 hours per week, which includes some weekends and holidays. Scheduled hours are 4:30-7:30pm.

Salary:

This is a union position, CEBA Grade 1M. Starting pay range of $18.72 - $21.78 per hour, depending on experience. There is a $2 per hour shift differential for weekend work.
